Kendriya Vidyalaya AFS Halwara came into existence in salubrious environs in the year 1983 to provide an opportunity through quality education. A co-educational school with unity in diversity is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The building provides all basic amenities. A healthy child centered education and activity-oriented approach in the teaching learning process facilitates the holistic development of children. This is a single shift school and has a temporary building, comes under Defence area.
The students of the vidyalaya, under the able guidance of highly qualified and talented teachers are being nutured with the care and positive approach to face the challenges of life.
